Tired, Tight & Poor Flexibility

Went out to watch the match last night and did a bit of stretching and foam rolling before hand. Woke up this morning feeling obviously tired but was surprised to find how ‘stiff’ I was.

Tight on all areas of legs and back and surprisingly could not even bend over to touch the floor without back pain. Spent a fair while stretching out my legs and back until flexible enough and pain free to go to the gym and work out the Squats, Overhead Press & Deadlift drills.

From 6pm to 10pm standing at a bar its surprising how just 4 hours was enough to cause enough tension in my back that I felt pain when trying to stretch out and do some thing as simple as touching my toes.

Doing compound lifts is definitely a 24/7 work program that requires just as much maintenance in the form of stretching and massage!
